Assesment methods:
Student will successfully pass the exam. The maximum number of points for the exam is 16. Student will pass the exam successfully if he is earned at least 9 points. Student will get credits for the course if he successfully passes the exam. Student is grade as fallow: A 15 – 16 points; B 13,5 – 14,5 points; C 12 – 13 points; D 10,5 – 11,5 points; E 9 – 10 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student is oriented in the fundamental questions of human rights and liberties. He obtains the knowledge about the human relations in the internal as well as in international context. He is able to define the codices and legal rules with individual bearing on civil and labour-law questions. He acquires the knowledge about actual questions of approximation of laws in SR with law in EU as well.
Course contents:
Significance of the study of law and the content orientation of subjects.
Legal relation and its elements. Legal norms.
Contract relations and individual types of contracts.
Function, change, content and expiration of commitments in civil and commercial relations. Ensuring and extinction of commitments.
Responsibility for damage and assumptions of its rise in the labour, civil and commercial law. Compensation for damage.
Concept of business and its conditions. Subjects of business.
Legal position of business subjects. Forms of business.
Business of traders. Types of trades.
Acquisition of the ownership law for the movable and immovable property. Forms of ownership. Protection of the right of property.
Industrial - labour-law relation and its subjects. Labour contracts.
Social insurance, its types and forms.
Resolution of disputes in legal relations. Judicial proceedings and their principles. System of courts. Judicial decisions. Appeal and admissible recourse. Execution of judicial decisions.
EU legislation and the approximation of law.
