Abstract: In this work, a new Co(II)-containing metal–organic framework (MOF) has been generated through the reaction between 1,3,5-benzenetribenzoate (H3BTB) and Co(II) salt in the existence of a anthracene based N-donor ligand 9,10-bis(1H-imidazol-1-yl)anthracene (dia), and its chemical formula is [Co2(μ3-OH)(dia)(btb)·2H2O]·EtOH·0.5DMF (1). The photocatalytic experiments show that complex 1 has excellent photocatalytic performance for rhodamine B (RhB) and methylene blue (MB) under the irradiation of visible light. Its application values on the neonatal gastrointestinal malformation surgery was assessed; meanwhile, its detailed mechanism was investigated. Firstly, the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay detection was carried out and the serum cortisol (Cor) content and epinephrine (E) content was measured after compound treatment. Moreover, the cholinergic receptor relative expression levels on neurons were assessed with real time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).
