Abstract: This work is concerned with the effect of number of graphene layer on its properties and performance of dye-sensitized solar cell. The properties include morphology, elemental composition, optical transmission, structure and chemical structure. The morphology is hexagonal plates which stack to each other. The wt.% of C increases with the number of graphene layer. The transmittance decreases with the number of layer. The XRD patterns signify the graphene phase in the sample. The power conversion efficiency increases with the number of layer with the highest efficiency of 14.5% that was obtained at 1000 lx in indoor measurement. The device with three layers demonstrates the highest efficiency since it possesses the largest coverage area of graphene particle.
