The Reactivity of Aminodiazaphenanthrenes

Abstract: Isomeric 10-amino-1,5-diazaphenanthrene and 7-amino-4,6-diazaphenanthrene were diazotized and the reactivity of diazonium salts was investigated by coupling with aniline and 2-naphthol as well as by reactions with potassium iodide.Structures of synthesized compounds have been confirmed by ¹H  NMR and mass spectrometry data.
