Alumina-Supported Synthesis of Aminoazoles Using Microwaves

Abstract: Alumina-supported synthesis of 2-aminothiazoles and alpha-oxazoles from halo carbonyl compounds and substituted thiourea/urea under "solvent-free conditions" using microwaves is described.
