Abstract: The composition of the waste after the process of dehydrochlorination and after concentration of the organic and water layer was determined. The conversion of dichloropropanols and selectivity of the reaction to epichlorohydrin, glycerol, and glycidol were calculated. The influence of sodium hydroxide excess on the concentration of glycerol and dichloropropanols in the waste water was also determined.
