The Synthesis of Substituted Thiosemicarbazones Containing Ferrocenyl Group

Abstract: We have reported on the preparation of ten thiosemicarbazones, which contain ferrocenyl group and have not been described so far, by condensation of 1-acetylferrocene or 1,1'-diacetylferrocene with various substituted thiosemicarbazides. The compositions and structures have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR and ¹H  NMR spectra.
