Abstract: The oxalatooxoperoxo complexes of vanadium(V) [N(CH3)4]3[VO(O2)(C2O4)2] . 1.8H2O . 0.2H2O2, [N(CH3)4]3[VO(O2)2(C2O4)] . 3H2O, and [N(C2H5)4][VO(O2)(C2O4)] . 0.5H2O were prepared. While the first two complexes are analogous to the corresponding monomeric complexes with alkali metal cations, the third one differs from all the known oxalatooxoperoxovanadates in the stoichiometry and properties and has probably a polymeric structure. Tetrabutylammonium complexes, the existence of which in solution can be supposed based on spectrophotometric measurements, were not obtained in the solid state.
