2-(4-X-2-Nitrophenylhydrazino)benzothiazoles

Abstract: 2-(4-X-2-Nitrophenylhydrazino)benzothiazoles were prepared by the nucleophilic substitution of either fluorine atom in 2-fluorobenzothiazole with 4-substituted 2-nitrophenylhydrazine or a halogen atom in the molecule of 4-substituted 2-nitro-1-halobenzene with 2-hydrazinobenzothiazole.
