Synthesis and antimicrobial activity of some 5-substituted 7-tetrazolylacetamido-3-acetoxycephalosporanic acids and their sodium salts

Abstract: 5-Substituted 7-(1-resp. 2-tetrazolylacetamido)-3-acetoxycephalosporanic acids and their sodium salts were obtained by TV-acylation of 7-ami­nocephalosporanic acid with reactive derivatives of 5-substituted 1- resp. 2-tetrazolylacetic acids. The final products were tested against Gram-posi­tive and Gram-negative strains of microorganisms.
