Furan derivatives CXCVI. Synthesis and reactions of 3,4-dichlorophenyl-substituted furocondensed derivatives

Abstract: The preparation of new 9-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-furo[2',3':4,5]pyrrolo[l,2-d]-l,2,4-triazolo[3'',4"-f]-1,2,4-triazines is described. Reaction of 2-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-4H-furo[3,2-b]pyrrole-2-carboxhydrazide with triethyl orthoformate or orthoacetate afforded 1,2-dihydro-7-(3,4-dichlorophenyI)-furo[2',3' :4,5]pyrrolo[1,2-d]-1,2,4-triazine-l-one or its 4-methyl analogue giving with phosphorus pentasulfide thiones, reacting with hydrazine to the corresponding hydrazino derivatives. The last ones with triethyl orthoformate or orthoacetate underwent cyclization reactions.
