Viscosity and molar conductivity of solutions of lithium nitrate in dimethyl sulfoxide

Abstract:  Density, viscosity, and molar conductivity of the highly concentrated solutions of lithium nitrate in dimethyl sulfoxide were determined in the temperature range 10—60 °C for compositions x = 9—28 mole % LiNO₃. The dependences of investigated quantities on temperature and composition are correlated by means of simple relations. These quantities are compared with the corresponding quantities of the aqueous solutions of lithium nitrate.
