Abstract: Surface treatment of powdered isotactic polypropylene (PP), accomplished
by action of the low-temperature O2 — N2 plasma (V(O2)/V(N2) = 1:4) of the
high-frequency discharge in the fluidized bed, has been studied. The reaction
product has been characterized by IR, NMR, and ESR spectra. The influence
of the exposition time on the variations in some of the properties has been
examined.
