Abstract: The effect of the degree of soln. acidification, temp., V concn., and reaction time on compn. of the solid substances arising in the NH₄VO₃-H₂SO₄-H₂O system was studied. All the studied factors affect compn. of the NH₄ polyvanadates. The orange substance (NH₄)₂V₆O₁₆, red-brown H hexavanadates of the formula (NH₄)_2-xH_xV₆O₁₆.nH₂O (x ≦ 1), and mixts. of these substances were obtained from the system.
