The role of polysubstituted heterocycles in the synthesis of bi- and polycyclic heterocycles

Abstract:  This review presents the syntheses and some transformations of the 5-triazolo[l,5-x]azines, 2-methyl-s-triazolo[l,5-x]azines, 5-triazolo[l,5-x]-azine 3-oxides, N-heteroarylcyanoamines and N-heteroaryl-N-methyl-cyanoamines, azino-pyrimidines and -pyrimidine 3-oxides including purines and pteridines, substituted-2-amirooxazolo-azines, pyrazolo[3,4-c]pyridazines and 0-, S-, and/or N-methylation with N,N-dimethylformamide dimethyl acetal.
