Synthesis of nucleoside analogs using 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-β-D-glucopyranosyl isothiocyanate

Abstract:  Synthesis of nucleoside analogues by cyclodehydration reaction of substi­tuted thiourea derivatives is described. The starting thiourea derivatives were obtained by the reaction of 2,3,4,6-tetra-О-acetyl-ß-D-glucopyranosyl isothiocyanate with a-oxoammonium chlorides.
