Deuteration of simple α-dicarbonyl compounds and their quinoxaline derivatives

Abstract:  Incorporation of deuterium in acidic and basic media into glyoxal, methylglyoxal, diacetyl, and their quinoxaline derivatives, viz. quinoxaline, 2-methylquinoxaline, 2,3-dimethylquinoxaline has been studied by i.r. and mass spec­trometry.
