Preparation and properties of some 3-phenoxazone derivatives

Abstract: The reaction of aromatic amines with some derivatives of l-carboxy-7-dimethylamino-3-phenoxazone has been studied. Preparation and properties of seven 2-arylamino derivatives are described; the proposed structures are supported by u.V., i.r., and p.m.r. spectral data.
