Abstract: The disproportionation mechanism: O → R (p) and 2R → O + Z (k) in which both reactions occur in the bulk phase was solved with an analog computer. The 1st reaction can proceed as a chem. pseudomonomol. redox reaction (excess of agent) or as an electrolytic 1st-order reaction (at const. potential). The time profiles of the concns. of all reaction components were obtained. Several methods for the detn. of rate consts. from the working curves obtained by an analog computer are proposed. The coulometric redn. of uranyl ions and the coulometric oxidn. of chlorpromazine, which were studied exptl., are given as examples of the application of the methods for study of disproportionation kinetics.
