Application of titanometry to titrations in alkaline media. V. Determination of hydroxylamine and some of its derivatives in dimethylformamide

Abstract:  Hydroxylamine as well as some of its derivatives may be titrimetrically determined in dimethylformamide solution using formate Ti(III) complex in glycerol-dimethylformamide mixture. For equivalence point indications potentiometry as well as redox indicators of gallocyanin, resazurin, and 7-aminophenoxazone-(3) were applied, whose formal oxidation-reduction potentials in dimethylformamide medium were determined.
