Iodometric determination of hydroperoxides of powdered isotactic polypropylene

Abstract: On the basis of experimental designing and statistical analysis a iodometric method for selective determination of hydroperoxides of powdered isotactic polypropylene at 20°C has been worked out. In the elaboration of this the properties of oxidized polypropylene as a macromolecular initiator for styrene polymerization in emulsion activated by Fe²⁺—triethylenetetramine chelate have been utilized.
