Abstract:  The preparation of 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-, 2,6 -diacetamido-2,6 -dideoxy-, and 2,6,6'-triacetamido-2,6,6'-trideoxy-neotrehalose from suitable substituted D-glucose derivatives is described.
