Simulation of mixing in a flow reactor with jet and regulating partition

Abstract:  The paper is concerned with the simulation of mixing in a flow reactor with jet and regulating partition. The distribution of residence time measured by the method of stimulus and response was compared with the distribution of residence time for some models of non-ideal mixing. It is shown which of the models considered complied best with the given experimental conditions in the considered type of reactor.
