The phase coexistence in the system NaP03—Mg(P03)2—Ca(P03)2

Abstract: Phase coexistence in the NaPO3-Mg(PO3)2-Ca(PO3)2 was studied by x-ray diffraction, DTA, and hot-stage microscopy. Three ternary compds., CaNa4(PO3)6, CaNa(PO3)3, and MgNa(PO3)3, previously reported in binary systems were obsd., but the existence of MgNa4(PO3)6, MgNa(PO3)4, and Ca2Mg(PO3)6 was not confirmed. No quaternary phase is present.
