The phase coexistence in the system NaP0₃—Mg(P0₃)₂—Ca(P0₃)₂

Abstract: Phase coexistence in the NaPO₃-Mg(PO₃)₂-Ca(PO₃)₂ was studied by x-ray diffraction, DTA, and hot-stage microscopy. Three ternary compds., CaNa₄(PO₃)₆, CaNa(PO₃)₃, and MgNa(PO₃)₃, previously reported in binary systems were obsd., but the existence of MgNa₄(PO₃)₆, MgNa(PO₃)₄, and Ca₂Mg(PO₃)₆ was not confirmed. No quaternary phase is present.
