Calculation of transport properties of cryolite melts

Abstract: The isotherm of viscosity and electrical conductivity of molten binary
systems is calculated as a function of overheating. The proposed model
of calculation is applied in the systems having sodium cryolite, Na3AlF6, as
one component. It is shown that the proposed model describes the transport
behaviour of the cryolite melts very well.
