Vibrational spectra of vanadium(V) compounds. I. Divanadates with thortveitite structure

Abstract:  The vibrational spectra of Cd₂V₂Ch and Мn₂V₂O₇ were measured and assigned to anion V₂O₇^4-  with respect to the D_3d symmetry. The calculated force constants of the modified valence force field were compared with the force constants of some analogous systems.
