Abstract: The oxidized polypropylene was grafted with vinyl or diene monomers in emulsion at 35°C in the presence of Fe²⁺ chelates. The activation effect of Fe²⁺ chelates on the rate of polymerization is interpreted from the point of redox reactions of coordinated compounds.
