Polarography of aluminum(III) in the presence of complexing agents

Abstract: The work is comparing the Polarographie behaviour of the aquoaluminium ion with that of other complexes of aluminium(III) in aqueous solution. Fluoride, tartrate, and citrate were used as complexing anions. The character of i—E curves, as well as the nature of Polarographie limiting currents and half-wave potential changes dependent on the ligand concentration, complex concentration, and pH were followed.
