Abstract: The validity of the equations of adsorption dynamics in fixed bed derived on the assumption of variable resistance to the mass transfer in solid phase has been verified. These equations enable us to correlate precisely the experimental data. Evaluation of the dependence of the coefficients k_ov and К on the granularity of sorbent and the gas velocity showed that  the physical assumptions used for the formulation of the equations of adsorption dynamics at variable solid phase resistance are correct.
