 Phase Diagram of the System Li₃AlF₆—KCl. I. Theory

Abstract: The thermodynamic analysis of the shape of the liquidus curves was carried out in the quasi-binary system Li₃AIF₆ — KCl. It was proved that the liquidus curve for KCl would be convex with regard to the concentration axis. I t is thus evident that the linear course of the KCl liquidus curve, which has been presented in literature, is incorrect.
