Abstract: The topological anal. of the equil. phase diagrams of systems with congruently melting compds. and stable diagonals, made by applying the characteristic triangles and direct methods, was described. The application of the so-called fictive coeffs. of the characteristic triangles for the detn. of the no. of structure components was shown. The no. of the structure components for each order, their sum, and the total no. of elementary crystn. spaces for the systems with an arbitrary no. of congruently melting compds. of arbitrary multiplicity were detd.
