Magnetic Properties of Different Modifications of Dihalide Diammine Copper (П) Complexes

Abstract: The magnetic susceptibilities of dihalide diammine copper(II) complexes of the type CuX₂(NH₃)₂ (X = CI or Br), which differ as regards their distortion of octahedral configuration of ligands, were measured over the temperature range 77 — 293 °K. The magnetic data were then interpreted on the basis of the known crystal structures of these compounds.
