On furan derivatives. X. Separation of nitrofuran derivatives by thin-layer chromatography

Abstract: A direct detn. and differentiation of some 5-nitrofuran derivs. by absorption chromatog. on thin layers of silica gel was described. The process of chromatographic sepn. and Rf values of 8 compds. are given. They are either starting material, intermediates, or final products in the synthesis of new 5-nitrofuran derivs.
