Chemistry of α-β-unsaturated ketones derived from acetylpyridines. II. Structure of Δ²-pyrazolines, prepared by the addition of diazomethane to azachalcones

Abstract:  The paper deals with the study of the structure of pyrazoline derivatives prepared by addition of diazomethane on 2'-, 3'- and 4'-azachalcones, respectively [1]. Infrared and NMR spectral data suggest that the structure of the 22 pyrazoline derivatives studied is that of Δ²-isomer, substituted in position 3 and 4.
