Use of organic solvents in ion-exchange separation of elements

Abstract: In the last time, organic solvents have become more involved in various separations of elements by ion exchange resins. Presented paper summarizes the individual effects of organic solvent present in the exchange system on properties of the liquid and solid phase, as well as the use of various combinations of organic solvents for cation and anion exchanger separations.
