Abstract:   Preceding abstr. Ionophoresis shows the presence of the following Sc₃⁺ complexes in OAc^- solns.: Sc(OAc)₂⁺, Sc(OAc)₂⁺, Sc(OAc)₃, Sc(OAc)₄^-. In the case of Y³⁺, formation of a polynuclear acetate complex is probable.
