Isothiocyanates. XV. The separation of isothiocyanates by thin-layer chromatography

Abstract: By means of thin layer chromatography on silicic acid, prepared according to [11] the separation of isothiocyanates of the dimethylaminoazobenzene type was examined. Based upon the obtained results, by this method it is possible to distinguish the isothiocyanates in question if the nucleus A is carrying an additional methyl group besides the NCS group.
