Effect of temperature on the adsorption dynamics in continuous columns

Abstract: Equations were derived for changes in the theoretical curve for the working height of the adsorbent layer together with the changes in temp., for the case when the degree of satn. at the bottom of the column remains const. in spite of the changing temp. Effects of adsorbent layer, time, and temp. on the efficiency of the column in steady-state gas-cleaning operations were presented graphically for activated charcoal.
