Alkaloids in Leucojum vernum in above-ground parts

Abstract: In the leaves of L. vernum, grown in eastern Slovakia, lycorine (0.038% dry wt.) was detd. by paper-chromatography. Only traces of galanthamine and other alkaloids were found.
