Molasses in biosynthesis of chlorotetracycline

Abstract: Molasses, produced in 1956 in Slovak beet-sugar mills and used at 0.2% as a fermentation substrate in manufg. chlorotetracycline on the rotating shaker, gave yields of 97-105%, indicating negligible variation.
