Multimolecularity of some purified pulps

Abstract: Purified (foreign) and domestic pulps prepd. in the lab. by very careful delignification and treatment with alkali showed a characteristic curve of the multimolecularity of these alkali celluloses with the time of preheating period up to 48 hrs. Two important max. of the distribution curves are discussed and indicate the necessity of total delignification in order to reach the quality of the pulp required for cord fibers.
