Calcium determination in egg shell by flame photometer

Abstract: P, Mg, and traces of Fe and S disturb the Ca detn. in an egg shell by the flame photometer. To correct this condition 60 mg. P/100 ml. is added to the calibration solns. The lowest ratio of P:Ca was 10:1 at the most concd. calibration soln. of Ca.
