N-Substituted derivatives of phenyldimethylpyrazolone carbamide

Abstract: By condensation of N-substituted ureas with 1-phenyl-2,3-dimethyl-4-amino-5-pyrazolone (I) at 135°, the following 4-substituted-amino analogs of I were prepd. (substituent and m.p. given): MeNHCO, 205°; EtNHCO, 240°; BuNHCO, 238°; PhNHCO, 235°; H₂NCO, 245°.
