Abstract: One-component modified portland cement (I) manufd. from domestic (Czech.) raw materials, especially suitable for massive hydraulic constructions, was developed to take place of 2-component cement manufd. with foundry alk. slag but not homogeneous. The crystn. paths of fused matter in I according to Rankin's diagram and to Lea and Parker and the effect of Fe2O3 were studied and applied in practice. I was homogeneous, low in hydration heat, and low in volumetric changes; the hydraulic module was 2.17, silicate 2.26, and aluminate 0.70.
