The effect of chlorides in gelatins on the iron determination

Abstract: The equations of regression lines and the value of correlation coeff. were calcd. and it was found that in the gelatin there is no correlation between the amt. of chlorides and the amt. of Fe. The losses of Fe can be eliminated by the addn. of HNO₃ before the combustion of the sample.
