Abstract: We used cyclic voltammetry (CV) to study the electrochemical redox properties of a series of solid-state polyoxometalate composite hybrid materials supported on indium tin oxide-coated glass. The hybrid materials are composed of the organofunctionalized polyoxocationic species, ([{ ext{NaV}}^{ ext{IV}}_{6} { ext{O}}_{ 6}){(OCH2CH2)2N(CH2CH2OH)}6]+, in combination with the Keggin-structure polyoxoanions (PW12O40)3−, (SiW12O40)4−, or (SiMo12O40)4−. CV results show that the hybrid materials are electrochemically active, with redox events attributable to their electrochemically active molecular constituents. Strong chemical–environmental effects are also observed.
