Complexes of acylated thioamides and related compounds with copper(I) and nickel(II) ions and their antimycobacterial activity

Abstract: Copper(I) and nickel(II) complexes of acylated thioamides and thioacylated thioureas have been prepared. Measurements of their antimycobactenal activity showed that the ligand has not lost its antimycobactenal activity by entering the complex. The relation between complex-forming ability and antimycobactenal activity has been discussed.
