Formation and stability of diethyldithiocarbamate complexes

Abstract: The formation of diethyldithiocarbamate complexes with Mn(III), Fe(III), Co(III), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II), Hg(II), Pb(II), and Bi(III) central atoms has been potentiometrically studied using a silver-complex electrode. Stability constants of complexes were determined in dimethyl sulfoxide and methanol as well as solubility products of Cu(II), Zn(II), and Cd(II) diethyldithiocarbamates in water.
