Benzothiazole compounds. I. Synthesis and antimicrobial investigation of 6-substituted allyl(2-benzothiazolylthio)acetates

Abstract: Allyl (6-X-2-benzothiazolylthio)acetates (X = H, N0₂ , NH₂, CI, Br, NHR. N(R)₂; R = CH₃, C₂H₅, CH₂CH = CH₂, СН₂С=СН) were synthesized and their antimicrobial efficiencies studied. Some derivatives (X = H, N0₂, NH₂, Br) showed significant positive microbiological effect. Alky lat ion of the amino group resulted in a decrease of the antimicrobial efficiency.
