Bis( O-Alkyl Dithiocarbonate)-Bis(Dicarbonyl- η⁵-cyclopentadienyliron)Tin(IV) Complexes

Abstract: Seven new complexes, [η⁵-C₅H₅Fe(CO)₂]₂Sn(S₂COR)₂ (R = alkyl), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and ¹H  NMR spectra. It has been proved that these O-alkyl dithiocarbonates are monobasic bidentate ligands to the tin ion. The coordination number of the central tin ion is six and we suggest an octahedral structure for these complexes.
